Full Journal pdf1993-03-05 House Journal Page 0556 HB 94 A message dated March 5, 1993, was read stating the Senate has passed CSHB 94(FIN) with the following amendment: Section 1, Page 1, line 4: Delete "$312,263" Insert "$284,663" And so, the following is transmitted for consideration: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 94(FIN) am S "An Act making a supplemental appropriation for costs of elections operations; and providing for an effective date." The following Senate Letter of Intent was attached: "It is the intent of the Legislature that the monies appropriated by this Act be expended only for the purposes and amounts expressed in the February 25, 1993, letter from the Office of the Governor, Division of Administrative Services to the Senate Finance Committee, and reflecting reductions adopted in Amendment #1." Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message on CSHB 94(FIN) and CSHB 94(FIN)amS at this time. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 1993-03-05 House Journal Page 0557 HB 94 Representative Phillips moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 94(FIN), thus adopting CSHB 94(FIN)amS, and recommended that the members vote yes. Representative Finkelstein was excused from a call of the House due to illness. The call was satisfied. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 94(FIN)?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 94(FIN)amS Concur YEAS: 34 NAYS: 1 EXCUSED: 5 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Barnes, Brice, Brown, Bunde, Carney, Davies, B.Davis, G.Davis, Foster, Grussendorf, Hanley, Hoffman, Hudson, James, Kott, Larson, Mackie, MacLean, Martin, Moses, Mulder, Nicholia, Nordlund, Olberg, Parnell, Phillips, Porter, Sanders, Sitton, Therriault, Toohey, Ulmer, Vezey, Willis Nays: Davidson Excused: Finkelstein, Green, Menard, Navarre, Williams And so, the House concurred in the Senate amendment, thus adopting CSHB 94(FIN)amS. Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause.
